Event Summary:
The Academic Summit, the flagship event of Symulate marked the beginning of Sympulse’21. The event was graced by a number of dignitaries from Symbiosis International (Deemed University); namely Prof. Dr. S.B Mujumdar – Honourable Chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar – Pro Chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Dr. Adya Sharma – Director, SCMS Pune and the faculty of SCMS Pune.
The summit was addressed by Dr. Vijay Bhatkar – Scientist, Philosopher, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan Awardee. Most notably known for his contribution in the making of India’s first supercomputer PARAM, he is currently the serving chancellor at the esteemed Nalanda University.
The summit commenced with Dr. Adya Sharma welcoming the esteemed guests and speakers and introducing them and the audience to Sympulse. The introduction was then followed by an address by Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar thanking Dr. Bhatkar for gracing the occasion and appreciating Dr. Adya Sharma and the entire team of Sympulse for organizing a successful event.
This was followed by a short address by Prof. Dr. S. B Mujumdar, who expressed his views on the ongoing pandemic and encouraged the students to embrace this calamity and convert it into a learning experience. He also expressed his appreciation towards the Sympulse team for adapting to the circumstances and putting up a Fest.
This was followed by an address by the keynote speaker of the day; Dr Vijay Bhatkar who addressed an audience of over 700 students present at the summit. He expressed his views on the ongoing pandemic and its effect on the lives of the students, the economy and the world as a whole. He shared his experiences as a notable scientist and an educationist. He expressed his gratitude and pleasure at being asked to address the summit. He also motivated and inspired the students to power through this difficult phase and emerge as better and stronger individuals.
The Summit concluded on a high note with Dr. Sabiha Fazalbhoy, Faculty Head for Sympulse Fest thanking all the dignitaries and Dr. Bhatkar for addressing the Summit.

Ananya held a Rocket League tournament for Sympulse 2021. Rocket League is a vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix.
The first day of Sympulse was filled with excitement and fun. Apart from Simunc, all the wings had events today and almost all of them were a huge success. Symulate had a very successful E summit that had entrepreneurs talking about business with sustainability. Apart from that the fest begun with the Acad Summit graced by - Mr. Ashish Vidyarthi and Ms. Krushna Patil. They gave illuminating talks on the environment, sustainability and motivation. Sprint had an array of events from arm wrestling to 11 A side football to table tennis and many more. Ananya had Street dance, mono acting, treasure hunt, photography competitions and more. Headlines hosted the EDM night with DJ sazz and DJ Nina Suerte.
Ananya hosted the talent show judged by actors Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh, Counter strike, group Dance, Unplugged, monopoly and many more literary events. Symulate had its various events such as Best Manager, Best entrepreneur, B-Quiz, Best Hr. and many more. Sprint kept its matches exciting with basketball, cross fit drills, badminton, football and many more. Headlines hosted “Battle of the Bands” Elims and a special Insta con happened in the Audi with Roshni Walia, Viraj Ghelani, Nidhi Kumar, and Yashaswini Dayama.
Symulate continued with the second round of Best Manager (judged by aditya jhunjhunwala0, Best HR, B-quiz, finance and business strategy. Ananya had many big events for the day such as Fashion show, Slam Poetry, Hindi singing competition (judged by Harjot kaur), group Dance, and blindfold Bollywood, street play judged by actress Kashmira Irani. Sprint continued with its football, volleyball, boxing, street cricket events. Simunc had its opening ceremony and begun the committees like UNSC, Council of Heroes and AIPPM. Headlines hosted Texas Hold ‘Em and the finale of Battle of the bands judged by “Celestial Pot” and “Malang”.
Ananya had many events that they managed to pull off successfully including Beauty pageant judged by actress Elnaaz, hogathon, Master Chef judged by chef saloni pands, Humans v Zombies, Hindi singing finals and many more. Simunc continued with its committees UNSC, AIPPM and council of heroes. Sprint too continued doing a fantastic job hosting many sports competitions like boxing, football, and more. Headlines had one of its biggest events PITSTOP where the finest cars from all around the city were showcased, they also had Rap it up, a rap competition hosted by mz bella.
Sprint hosted 11 a side football where the prize money was distributed amongst amongst Ness Wadia and Christ College. Street Cricket the finals of street cricket were a sight to see. Simunc wrapped up its committees and had its closing ceremony where they announced all the winners.
‘The Sundowner’ held in raga lawns, Mundhwa on 24th of January. It was an absolute success, filled with shops selling trinkets, good food and amazing performances, Sundowner experienced a huge crowd from all across the country. The evening started with Vishal Shivakumar opening for Rahul Dua, the runner up of Comicstaan season one followed by a spectacular performance showcased by ‘The local train’, kids were banging their heads and enjoying local train. In midst people were seen enjoying burgers, pizzas, ice cream, shwaramas and many other food items. The night ended with DJ omen playing amazing music to which everyone partied hard to.
Day 1 of Sympulse'19 was filled with excitement and joy, Ananya conducted the Mobile gaming events and Headlines conducted battle of the bands amongst others.
Day of Sympulse fest consisted of several events from the wings, but the main event conducted was the Academic Summit, with esteemed guests such as Kiran Bedi in attendance. Ananya hosted several events with celebrities such as Ayesha Takia in attendance and Sprint hosted sporting events.
Day 3 of Sympulse fest was filled with energy and excitement, ananya hosted a street dance event and other business, MUN and sports events continued.
Day 4 of Sympulse fest was filled with energy and excitement, ananya hosted a group dance event attended by many and other business, MUN and sports events continued.
Day 5, the closing day of sympulse ended with the Sundowner, a massive event that brings people all across Pune together for one night of Comedy and Music. The Sundowner was attended by Comedians such as Kaneez Surka and Biswa Kalyan Rath as well as Artists such as Gurbax and Yellow Diary
Day 1 of Sympulse'18 was a huge success, the fest kicked off with the flagship event of Sympulse - The Academic Summit, which was attended by visionary Mr. Rahul Bose. The Talent hunt was attended by Nushrat Bharucha along with Kartik Aaryan.
Day of Sympulse fest consisted of several events from the wings, Ananya hosted several events with celebrities such as Malaika Arora in attendance and Sprint hosted sporting events.
Day 3 of Sympulse fest was filled with energy and excitement; ananya hosted a street dance event attended by Mr. Ashley Lobo and many attendees. Other business, MUN and sports events continued.
Day 4 of Sympulse fest was filled with energy and excitement, ananya hosted a group dance event attended by many and other business, MUN and sports events continued.
Day 5, the closing day of sympulse ended with the Sundowner, a massive event that brings people all across Pune together for one night of Comedy and Music. The Sundowner was attended by Comedians such as Sorabh Pant and Abish Mathew as well as Artists such as Ritviz, Gully Gang and Divine.
Day 1 of Sympulse'17 was a huge success, the fest kicked off with the flagship event of Sympulse - The Academic Summit, the academic summit had the topic - ‘redefining education with special emphasis on unconventional trajectories’. The Talent hunt was attended by Mr. Suniel Shetty, who interacted with the students and participants.

Day 3 of Sympulse fest was filled with energy and excitement, Sports events were conducted by sprint and business events continued.
Day 4 saw the Symulate events come to a close with the final rounds of all the business events, Ananya hosted a group dance event among several other events by Headlines, Sprint and SIMUNC.
Day 5, the closing day of sympulse ensured that the massive fest closed with the same energy and excitement that it began with, SIMUNC concluded its committees with final rounds and the fest was closed with the soulful voice of Ayushman Khurana, who performed under Headlines’ Musical Night.
Day 1 of Sympulse’16 was a huge success, kicked off with the flagship event of Sympulse - The Academic Summit, the academic summit had the theme of ‘A Realm Reborn’ and topic - ‘Navigating changing industries in technology’, the event was graced by several distinguished speakers including - Ms. Anu Agha, Prof. Vivek Desai, Mr. Amitav Malik, Ms. Bhakti Sharma, Mr. K.V. Varkey and Mr. Anil Lamba.
Furthermore, several exciting events such as the EDM nights and 11-A-side football were conducted to enthrall students and visitors of Symbiosis Centre for management studies, Pune.
Day of Sympulse fest consisted of several events from the wings, Ananya hosted the Femina Miss India Auditions and drew a massive crowd along with other cultural events, similarly Sympulse continued with the next rounds of the Business Events, Headlines conducted the Battle of the Bands and Sprint hosted the sports events like Basketball.
Day 3 of Sympulse fest was filled with energy and excitement, Ananya hosted the mega popular street dance event, symulate continued on with their high-pressure business events such as best entrepreneur and Sprint and Headlines continued to host sports and thematic events. But the biggest event of the day was the SIMUNC opening ceremony.
Day 4 saw the Symulate events come to a close with the final rounds of all the business events, SIMUNC experienced an enthralling day 2 with the committees that included UNSC, Ananya hosted Solo Singing and other large scale events, whereas sprint hosted Chess, Volleyball and so on.
Day 5, the closing day of sympulse ensured that the massive fest closed with the same energy and excitement that it began with, sprint hosted the energetic final match for football and the fest was closed with the soulful voice of Farhan Akhtar, who performed under Headlines’ Musical Night.
