Notes (For SIU Dubai): -

1) *VAT @ 5% will be charged extra on fees.
2) Any other charges incurred on behalf of the student/ to provide services to the student will be charged at actual.
3) Backlog Fee will be charged additional @ AED 500 + 5% VAT per course as applicable.
4) Medical Insurance and Visa charges (non-refundable) (inclusive of VAT), will be additional @ AED 5000 for overseas students requiring institutional visa, AED 1,000 will be charged in addition to this for students who are within UAE.
5) Administrative fees (non-refundable) @ AED 1000 + 5% VAT will have to be paid by the student at the time of application for the cancellation of the admission.
6) A late fee will be applicable for all fee payments that are not paid as per the schedule.
7) Accommodation facilities are available; however, the hostels are outsourced. Students are required to pay the accommodation providers directly. SIU Dubai does not collect hostel fees, and therefore, the hostel fee structure is not approved or regulated by SIU.

*Deakin offers the tuition fee waiver scholarships for students who meet the following eligibility criteria:
1. 25% Scholarship for WAM of 75% or above.
2. 20% bursary for WAM of 60% – 74.99%.

Please note that the WAM will be calculated as the average of the four semesters completed at SCMS, and scholarships will be offered based on this.

Accommodation is not the only cost to consider.
